LONDON http://www.camisetadefutbolcolombia.com/comprar-camiseta-edwin-cardona.html , April 18 (Xinhua) -- A former leader of the Continuity Irish Republican Army (CIRA) was shot dead on Friday afternoon on a busy street in western Belfast, capital of Northern Ireland, local media reported Friday, citing police sources.
Tommy Crossan, reportedly the CIRA's former leader and a dissident Republican, was attacked in a fatal shooting near the Peter Pan centre in Springfield Road of western Belfast, local police was quoted by British Sky News as saying.
Part of the Springfield Road was closed to traffic while local police arrived at the scene to investigate the incident.
"Serious Crime Branch Detectives launch murder investigation after 43 year old man is shot dead in Springfield Rd area Belfast this afternoon," the Police Service Northern Ireland tweeted on Friday night without giving the name of the victim.
"Shame on those who bring death to Belfast streets at Eastertide. They represent no-one but themselves and have no place in our great city," Lord Mayor of Belfast Mairtin O Muilleoir said via his personal twitter account.
CIRA has been listed as a main dissident republican group, which rejects the 1998 Belfast Agreement and continues to carry out attacks. It opposes political engagement with the British and Irish governments on any subject other than the establishment of a united Irish republic, according to the British Security Service, Britain's national security intelligence agency.
Anywhere from 60 to 100 birdwatchers, or birders, flock to the coast each year to enjoy the feathered wildlife that can be found around the area.
Dawn Harris, Visitor Services manager for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, said this festival is the perfect size for novice birders to sample the hobby.
“This isn't a festival where we have hundreds or thousands of people. It's a nice, small, intimate group http://www.camisetadefutbolcolombia.com/comprar-camiseta-frank-fabra.html ," Harris said. "So, you have an opportunity to work one-on-one with your field trip leader and to meet other people who have an interest in birds and nature.”
Activities include several field trips, by land or sea, including trips to Bandon Marsh National Wildlife Refuge, New River and sites around the Coos Bay area.
The Cape Arago Audubon Society started the Oregon Shorebird Festival almost three decades ago to give fans of all skill levels the opportunity to watch the migrating birds that stop over in the estuaries of Coos Bay and Bandon.
