The Winnipeg Goldeyes re-signed left-handed pitcher Brendan Lafferty for the 2015 American Association season. Following the 2012 season, he was selected by the Philadelphia Phillies in the Rule 5 Draft, but was released during spring training. Lafferty was also selected by the Phillies in 47th round of the 2004 MLB Amateur Draft out of Riverside Poly High School, but he elected to attend UCLA instead of signing.
