Johan Camargo drove home Markakis in the seventh with an RBI double to make it 6-1. Jesse Biddle worked a scoreless seventh and then gave way to Jonny Venters who struck out Michale Conforto but then allowed a single to Ramos and a double to Jeff McNeil. Venters was then replaced by Luke Jackson who then allowed an infield single to Amed Rosario that scored Ramos to make it 6-2. Jackson then got pinch hitter Dominic Smith to fly out to right for the second out of the inning but then surrendered a two-out single to Keon Broxton that scored McNeil to make it 6-3. After a visit by pitching coach Rick Kranitz, Jackson came back and struck out Brandon Nimmo to escape the jam. Albies struck again in the ninth as he greeted Mets reliever Jeurys Familia with a triple into the right field corner. Donaldson followed with a single to left that scored Albies to make it 7-3. A.J. Minter came on and retired the side in order in the ninth to seal the victory. With the win, Atlanta improves to 9-6 on the season and salvages a split in their series with the Mets.
