Since it’s Saturday, that means we have a new update to our Minnesota Vikings Mock Draft Database and the projections from around the internet about what the purple could, potentially, do on Thursday of draft weekend. This week, we’re up to 90 mock drafts from various sources, meaning that next week we will reach our full capacity of 100 mocks. There wasn’t an opportunity to eliminate any mocks this week, but there are still plenty that have been updated since we put this together last week. So, without any further ado, here is this week’s Minnesota Vikings Mock Draft Database.2019 Minnesota Vikings Mock Draft Database, Version 6.0SiteNameDateRound 1 (18)Round 2 (50)Round 3 (81)SiteNameDateRound 1 (18)Round 2 (50)Round 3 (81)While the offensive lineman have, once again, dominated the distribution of the selections, for the third consecutive week their percentage of the selections has actually gone down. This week, offensive linemen comprise 73 of our 90 picks, which is good for 81.1%. That’s down from last week’s figure of 83.75%, which was down from 85.7% the week before that.Oklahoma guard Cody Ford is Minnesota Vikings Jerseys 2019 , again, crushing the field, as his name appears 31 times this week (34.44%), and Jonah Williams is a distant second with 14 selections (15.56%). Those two men make up exactly half of the selections in the entire Database for this week.Washington State tackle Andre Dillard sits in third place this week with eight selections (8.89%), while North Carolina State center Garrett Bradbury has jumped into fourth place with six picks (6.67%). Kansas State guard Dalton Risner is just behind him with five selections this week (5.56%).Boston College guard Chris Lindstrom sees his name pop up four times in our Database this week (4.44%), while Texas A&M center Erik McCoy appears twice (2.22%). There are three offensive linemen that each garnered one selection in this week’s update: Florida tackle Jawaan Taylor, Mississippi tackle Greg Little, and Washington tackle Kaleb McGary (1.11% each). That means we have 17 picks that were not dedicated to offensive linemen this week, and for what I believe is the first time in this year’s Database, the tight end position finds itself in sole possession of second place. This week, the tight end position appears seven times in our Database, and all of the selections went to the contingent from Iowa. This week, it’s actually Noah Fant that leads at the position, as he appears four times in this week’s Database (4.44%). His teammate, T.J. Hockenson, appears three times (3.33%).The defensive linemen came out of this week’s update with five selections, and most of those are contributed by Clemson defensive tackle Christian Wilkins, who appears three times this week (3.33%). Two other interior linemen, Ed Oliver from Houston and Jeffrey Simmons of Mississippi State Alexander Mattison Jersey nfl draft , picked up one selection each (1.11% each). At the linebacker spot, Michigan linebacker Devin Bush remains Mr. Consistency, as he appears three times this week. . .just as he has in the previous four Database updates (2.22%). Lastly, the defensive backs earned multiple picks this week, as Washington cornerback Byron Murphy was selected twice this week (2.22%). Louisiana State cornerback Greedy Williams, who made his debut last week, makes his exit in this week’s update. So, let’s move on to this week’s graphics, shall we? As always, we start with the donut graph, which breaks down just the selections from this week’s update. You may click on the graphic to embiggen it.To go along with that, we have the “Jell-o Salad” graph, which allows us to see all the trends that we’ve witnessed in our Database over the past seven weeks. You can click to embiggen this one as well. That’s our Minnesota Vikings Mock Draft Database for this week, folks! Only two more of these to go before the actual NFL Draft occurs, and next week we’ll be all the way up to our target of 100 mocks. Be there! Kenneth Temple is a devout New Orleans Saints fan. Ask him a question about his beloved team, and the first words from his mouth are “WhoDat? Who Dat?”Still, Temple, a noted chef who has cooked for several NFL players, including Malcolm Jenkins Alexander Mattison Jersey Cheap , Brandin Cooks and All-Pro receiver Michael Thomas, recognizes there are three other teams remaining in the playoffs. So when Hormel Chili asked him to create dips for the Super Bowl, he dived right in with versions that reflect not only New Orleans, but New England, Los Angeles and Kansas City .“The beautiful thing about it is chili and football go hand in hand,” Temple says, noting Hormel was a partner with the NFL as far back as the 1950s. “At tailgates or with friends at a viewing party or wherever, it is easy to accommodate a larger crowd.”But his chore for now is to accommodate four distinctly different tastes as part of a contest in which fans will include touchdown dances; a winner and a guest will get tickets to the 2020 Super Bowl in Miami. We won’t give away too many ingredients, but suffice to say Temple catered nicely to each region.“Chili is versatile, but you can’t throw everything in it,” he says. “Don’t want it to be intimidating.”First, the Big Easy.“I had to make sure I represent the culture right, being from New Orleans,” he says. “Nobody wants to eat shrimp with their chili, they don’t go together. So what to do?”Temple quickly came up with an answer: red beans. Add in some onions, celery and bell peppers, sausage, creole seasoning, a few other items and Alexander Mattison Jersey Womens , voila.“I was thoroughly impressed with it,” Temple says. “Friends said that is rolling.”So he rolled on to LA.“The fun thing about Los Angeles is it’s such a large melting pot, so you don’t know which culture to pull from to represent the area,” he explains. “I came across a Felipe’s restaurant known for their chili, they do annual giveaways. So we paid homage to the Latin culture.”Which meant a touch of cilantro and some jalapenos.Next stop, Kansas City, renowned for its barbecue. As in his LA chili, no beans for this creation.“My wife is from Kansas City and we went on a barbecue tour of about eight spots recently, so I knew I wanted to play with the burnt ends,” Temple says. “That is what they do well and people wait on line for.”This recipe included the flavor of a Kansas City barbecue sauce, which Temple says is “spicier and bolder than I expected. I am used to more of the sweeter side of barbecue. I was impressed with the tang.”He wanted the smokiness of the burnt ends to blend in, but urges folks to mix the meat into this dish, not to simply put the burnt ends on top and chow down. Finally, he tackled New England, knowing that, like in New Orleans, clams or lobster wouldn’t quite work.“Boston baked beans,” he exclaims. “That’s a savory sweet payoff, and because you can use a variety of baked beans Alexander Mattison Minnesota Vikings Jerseys , I can imagine you will get a lot of different flavors with it.”Temple recently gave cooking lessons to Vikings star receiver Adam Thielen. Indeed, the dance contest emanates from some of Thielen and his teammates’ touchdown celebrations. From now through Super Bowl Sunday on Feb. 3, 2019, fans can submit their best touchdown dance via social media by tagging @HormelChili on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter.Temple and Thielen created a Minnesota chili.“I told Adam that I am the chef, so this is my side of the field,” Temple says with a hearty laugh. “But when I have an engagement with whomever I am cooking with, I want him to throw out some ideas and we bounce them back and forth — especially with people who do not get a chance to cook too many times.”That would be Thielen, who had 113 receptions for 1,373 yards and nine touchdowns this season. Thielen attended the game last year in Minneapolis, but this time will be at home with his wife and two children. On the menu? Well, chili, of course.“Since I’m from Minnesota, I thought chili and tots would be perfect together,” he says, “and Chef Kenneth said, ‘We can add some creole seasoning on the tots and you pour the chili dip on top.’ The combo came out perfect!”
