Maybe you remember thosedark and sad days.It was disappointing to have Houston’s former team jet to “greener” pastures during the time when a young man was just discovering the joys of football and the NFL. I’ll admit I was lost for a few years. During that time, my parents did their best, but unfortunately they tried to steer me to the Cowboys as the team to root for. Even as a kid, I knew that there was no coming back from a major life mistake such as that. In 2002, the Texans became the answer to my woes and played their first expansion game. It wasn’t long until this new expansion franchise instead become the source of my woes. I remember how David Carr took beatings behind a terrible offensive line and how badly the fans begged the franchise to put talent in front of the franchise QB (sounds sorta familiar, huh?) The point is, I remember all the good and the bad of the franchise because I’ve been a fan since day one.I have blind spots due to my loyalty to the team, but I do my best to deliver accurate analysis. I will always have a hot take, which may be wrong, but I won’t hesitate to throw it out there and argue passionately about it anyways.
